Hey there! My name is Johncarlo Zani (he/him/they), I’m a 27-year-old Italian-American actor living in New York. From ever since I can remember I’ve been playing and experimenting with my voice in order to step into different characters that I would hear across movies, television shows, and especially animation and video games. At one point, I even started coming up with them on my own! Combine that with discovering a love for theatre and acting, and you’ve got yourself one potentially deadly combo. I am a firm believer in the power of storytelling and see acting as a way to unlock the secrets of life itself. To quote the great Stella Adler, “Growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous.” Acting has allowed me to connect with peoples and cultures far beyond myself in ways I could only access through the arts- it has deepened my understanding and connection to living and has only prompted further discovery through exploration into the vast reaches of the human condition.
